Decorating the Tree

Here's Logan helping daddy put the ornaments on the tree. He had a great time helping decorate the tree this year!

Logan decided he would also decorate his rocking chair. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the finished product. The chair was completely covered with tinsel.
After the day's hard work, he just couldn't stay awake long enough to finish his dinner. Poor guy.

Logan is going to be a...

I just had to post these pictures...mostly for myself so I will have them when I look back at all this in a few years. Although he has no idea what is about to enter his world, I know that Logan will be a GREAT big brother!

Happy Halloween

Halloween this year was very exciting for Logan. It was the first year that he actually knew what was going on and that he would get candy. Friday morning he picked up his trick-or-treat bucket and said, "Come on, Mommy. Let's go get candy!" He couldn't wait for Saturday night. And, I must admit, I was pretty excited too, just seeing his excitement. He got to pick out what he wanted to be this year and he decided to be a "police cop." He wanted to be a "police cop" like his Uncle Casey. It's a bit hard to get good pictures of him these days because he's too busy acting silly and goofing off. But, here are some of the pictures I did manage to get of him.

The Pumpkin Patch!!

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch this year. This is the second year we have been to this particular farm. They have so much for the kids to do and really make it an enjoyable family day. They had a few new things this year...duck racing and a corn corral (I guess is what it's called). Logan especially liked the big slide, feeding the goats, and of course, the cow train. I was very surprised that he actually fed the goats. Last year he was pretty afraid of them and did not want to put his hand near their mouths, but he had fun feeding them this year!

Doesn't look too thrilled about the hayride, does he??

But this was fun!
And, the big slide...weeeeeeeeeee!

Cow train
Duck races...not too sure who won

Now, it's mommy's turn
Riding the go-carts...can you guess who had more fun???
This one is a bit too big for me
More my size

He picked up about ten of these and turned every one over and looked at the bottom. It was pretty funny, but I have no idea what he was looking for.

Remember to Pray!

Yesterday, Logan and I went to Quiznos for lunch. We got our food and Logan said, "Let's say the prayer." He went ahead and said the prayer, then pointed at the man sitting right across from us and repeatedly said, "That man didn't say a prayer."

More Summer Fun

Our past few weekends have been a bit busy. Logan and I went to a bluegrass and BBQ festival with my parents one Saturday...Adam was a party-pooper, he didn't want to go. :-( Too bad, though, it was really fun! Anyway, at the bluegrass and BBQ festival there was a stand with funnel cakes and they smelled SO good. I did not get one, but I remembered I had a recipe to make some at home. So, the next week I decided to make some funnel cakes as a special treat. Logan had a good time eating them!

I get a thumbs-up! Must be good!

Must wipe mouth with shirt.

The next weekend, we had a garage sale with my mom and dad, so we were at their house for the weekend. My dad grilled some YUMMY ribs, we had potato salad, and squash...YUMMY!!!! I thought it would be fun and a nice way to end the evening if we made s'mores. I think Logan enjoyed eating the marshmallows, but I know he liked toasting them even more. All he wanted to do was roast marshmallows. What a nice summer evening!

Adam enjoyed his s'mores, too!

Since Logan's cowboy hat has seen much better days, his granny and pa got him a new cowboy hat to wear to church and a bolo tie. He was really excited about his new hat and tie. He was all spiffed up Sunday morning!

The last few pictures are just of things I thought were cute and funny that Logan has done recently. Hope you enjoy!

Of course we have to get in some bluegrass practice!

Tiring weekend at granny and pa's.

Love the hair-do!

I'm not sure what he was trying to do, but he found most of his cars and lined them up.
Finally, Logan loves to be outside, whether it be riding his tricycle, roller skating, drawing with chalk, or just kicking a ball. But, here he is on his tricycle.

Must be prepared...in case it starts raining in the house.

Mommy is taking a picture...trying not to look! :-)
