AAAARRRRRRRR, Matey (Logan Turns 4)

A few months ago we took Logan to Party City to pick out what he wanted to have for his birthday party. This was the first year that he had a birthday party and invited his friends over. He was SUPER EXCITED!!! All he talked about for a month was his birthday and his party. Unfortunately, Logan's birthday fell on the same weekend as Easter this year, so we had to put off his party for a week. He didn't seem to mind, though. In fact, I don't think he really thought it was his birthday until he had his party. So anyway, he chose to have a pirate theme for his birthday party. Adam and I had a lot of fun coming up with a treasure hunt for the kids. We also made a bean bag toss game. I think the party was a hit and all the kids had a great time.

The Bean Bag Toss Game

Adam tells the kids a story with the first clue to the treasure map!

AAAARRRRRRR Matey!

Hmmmm, I wonder what's under these chairs!

Clue Number 3, which also had a key!

What's in the mailbox?

THE MAP!!!!

We found the treasure! Hurry up and open it!

Happy Easter!

To start off our Easter weekend, we went to the annual Easter egg hunt at the Hovater farm and had a great time! The way Mrs. Paula organizes the egg hunt is when you first get to the house, the Easter bunny is there to have pictures made with the kids, then all the kids line up behind the Easter bunny and have a "parade" to their designated hunting spot. On our walk down the path Logan spotted some eggs that were hidden for a different age group and he picked one up, put it in his basket, and said, "I found one!" He was really excited that he had found an egg, but we had to make him put it back because that wasn't his section to hunt in. So, we finally make it to our designated spot, and Logan had a great time looking for the eggs.
Easter morning, Logan woke up to a nice little arrangement of goodies left by the Easter bunny, along with his Easter suit.

If you're wondering why we're all looking down, it's because my mom is on the floor taking pictures and my dad is standing behind her with our camera.

And, finally a belly shot, just for you, Audrey! Here I am about 32 weeks.
