"I have to go..."

We have begun the wonderful task of potty training Logan. While I was not exactly anxious to deal with all the messes that go along with it, I was quite ready to be done with the diapers. And, since you can't have it both ways, we opted to go for potty training. Logan, I am proud to say, has made potty training VERY easy! He is doing a great job! However, now that we are without diapers, I have had to face my biggest fear in the potty world: public restrooms. EWWWWW!!!!

The other night we went out for dinner. Logan, of course, had to use the facilities. I went ahead and took him. We got our food and while we were eating, Logan decided he had to go again. Since Adam was already finished, I asked him to take Logan to the bathroom. I explained what to do and to make sure not to touch ANYTHING! So, off they go. About 30 seconds later, they're back. Adam told me that the bathroom was not up to Logan's sanitary expectations. Apparently, they went in the stall, Logan looked at it and said, "No daddy, another one." I thought that was hilarious!

Happy Easter

As if Logan didn't have enough sweets and fun for his birthday, Easter comes along! And, he didn't go to just one candy-filled egg hunt, but two. Every year a couple from church hold an Easter egg hunt at their house, the Easter bunny is there, and we have a nice picnic lunch. This happens on the Saturday before Easter. It's really a lot of fun.
Not so sure he wants to sit with the Easter bunny
Look, I found one!
Hey bunny, look at all my eggs!
Easter Sunday, we went to my parent's house. A couple from their church had an egg hunt and potluck. They have a little girl Logan's age and he loves her. They are so cute playing together. I was so happy that Easter Sunday turned out to be such a beautiful day!

Happy Birthday, Logan (part 2)

Party #4: Because we were in New Mexico around Logan's birthday, we got to celebrate with his Aunt Kira and Uncle Casey.

Also while in NM, Logan got his present from his Uncle Ben, Aunt Audrey, Bailee, and Morgan.

Party #5: And finally, we celebrated with Logan's Granny and Pa.

The BIG surprise!!!!

Happy Birthday, Logan (part 1)

Logan just celebrated his third birthday! It's hard to believe my baby isn't a baby anymore. Logan has had quite the birthday this year, though. I think he had five parties in all.

Party #1: Grandma and Papa came to visit the last week in March, and since it was so close to Logan's birthday, we had a little party while they were here.

Party #2: The next "party" was going to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner, and then to the Build A Bear Workshop.

Party #3: We were traveling to New Mexico on the day of Logan's birthday, so we had a little party in the car. We stopped at a Wal-Mart, got some cupcakes, and opened a few presents.
I realize this is a bit of a picture overload, so I am going to break it up into two parts.

Trip to New Mexico

This month has turned out to be a very busy month already, and shows no sign of slowing down. Adam called me from work Thursday morning telling me that his grandpa had passed away. Knowing he was going to leave work early and would want to leave as soon as he got home, I rushed to finish up the laundry we needed for the trip and start packing. We had a very long
drive, but finally made it there about 3 am Saturday morning. Although the circumstances for making the trip stunk, we had a good visit with lots of family, and Logan had a great time playing with his cousins, Bailee and Morgan.

We are back home and busy getting ready to close on our house. We have LOTS of packing to do and we are trying not to wait until the last minute to get it done. We are very excited about the house and can't wait to get in and finally have our own space again! Not to mention, not having to worry about Logan running around and being a kid, and waiting for someone to pound on the ceiling. But anyway, enough of that. Here are some of the very few pictures from the trip. Enjoy!
