The BIG Surprise

Over the past several weeks Logan has really become interested in fish. Every time we go to Wal-Mart, we cannot leave until we visit the fish. So, since he is so fascinated by them, we thought it would be a good time to take him to the Georgia Aquarium. When we first got to the aquarium, Logan seemed a bit scared-they had the lights set in a weird color scheme and had some "oceany" music playing. But, as soon as he saw the first big tank of fish, he was mesmerized! We had a great time and saw some very beautiful sea creatures. The most fun, though, was seeing Logan's reaction to all the fish and sea animals. When we left I asked him what his favorite part was and he said the big fish and the turtle. I think he really enjoyed his big surprise (and so did we)!

My Sweet Boy

Today Logan got a happy meal from McDonald's for lunch. The toy in the bag was a Spiderman toy. He has recently become interested in Spiderman, though I don't know why. He doesn't watch it on TV, we never talk about Spiderman, so I'm not sure. Anyway, when Logan was finished with his lunch he told me, "Mommy, thank you for lunch." Then he said, "Mommy, thank you for Spiderman." Isn't he the sweetest little boy ever???

Tomorrow we have a BIG surprise for him! Stayed tuned...

Skating in the Park

Since yesterday was a fairly nice day, we decided to get out of the house and go to the park. Logan wanted to skate, which I usually let him do in the house, but I thought he might like to take them to the park and skate outside. We got him all dressed up in his helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads-there was just one more thing he had to have...his sunglasses. We had a great time, although it was a bit chilly. Logan did really well on his skates, but he did get a little lazy after a while-he wanted daddy to pull him. We can't wait for the warmer weather so we can get outside more often!

I'm ready!!!!

Uh-oh...first fall :-(

Weeeeeee, this is fun!!!!

Cake for Breakfast???

A friend and I have decided to start walking a few mornings a week. This morning I was running a little late and we pretty much had nothing to eat-on-the-go for breakfast. I decided to stop by Burger King on my way to meet my friend. I got Logan the french toast sticks. As we're driving down the road he says, "Mommy, what's this?" holding up a french toast stick. I told him it was french toast. He quickly informed me, "No, it's cake!!!"

Making Cookies

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I thought it would be nice to make treats to send with Adam to work. And, of course, I can't make anything without the gracious help of my little two year old! So, yesterday we made cookies. I was able to decorate them while he was sleeping last night, but he helped make the cut-outs.

Then, I guess he was sooooooo tired from all the cookie making, he needed to take a nap.

Uh...Blogging???

Hey, everyone! So, I have decided to try this blogging thing. Adam has been wanting me to do this for a long time, but I just don't think I will have much to write about. That said, I don't know how interesting it will be, or how often I will remember to post, but I will try my best to keep it updated.

As for the time being, not a whole lot is happening around here. We are in the middle of a house search, as most of you probably know, but no luck, yet.

Logan is growing like a weed. He is very full of energy and attitude. If something is not going his way, he is quick to let you know about it. But, he is also a very sweet boy. Right now he is very into trains, planes, firetrucks, police cars, anything with lights and sounds.

That's about it for now. Like I said, not very interesting, but hopefully I can keep you all updated on things going on here in the great ATL, especially Logan, since I know that is why you all will be reading this anyway!
