Happy Birthday, Logan (part 1)

Logan just celebrated his third birthday! It's hard to believe my baby isn't a baby anymore. Logan has had quite the birthday this year, though. I think he had five parties in all.

Party #1: Grandma and Papa came to visit the last week in March, and since it was so close to Logan's birthday, we had a little party while they were here.

Party #2: The next "party" was going to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner, and then to the Build A Bear Workshop.

Party #3: We were traveling to New Mexico on the day of Logan's birthday, so we had a little party in the car. We stopped at a Wal-Mart, got some cupcakes, and opened a few presents.
I realize this is a bit of a picture overload, so I am going to break it up into two parts.

Trip to New Mexico

This month has turned out to be a very busy month already, and shows no sign of slowing down. Adam called me from work Thursday morning telling me that his grandpa had passed away. Knowing he was going to leave work early and would want to leave as soon as he got home, I rushed to finish up the laundry we needed for the trip and start packing. We had a very long
drive, but finally made it there about 3 am Saturday morning. Although the circumstances for making the trip stunk, we had a good visit with lots of family, and Logan had a great time playing with his cousins, Bailee and Morgan.

We are back home and busy getting ready to close on our house. We have LOTS of packing to do and we are trying not to wait until the last minute to get it done. We are very excited about the house and can't wait to get in and finally have our own space again! Not to mention, not having to worry about Logan running around and being a kid, and waiting for someone to pound on the ceiling. But anyway, enough of that. Here are some of the very few pictures from the trip. Enjoy!

Funny Story

The other night for dinner we had some kind of mexican food. When Logan was done eating he got down and went in his room to play. I took a bite that was a bit hot, so I started making "hot bite noises." Logan ran into the dining room and asked if I was okay. I told him I was fine but I took a bite that was too hot. He ran off into his room and came back with his fire hose and started putting out the hot fire on my plate. Then, he put out the fire in my mouth! I was greatly relieved!!!

Painting Fun

While we were painting today, I guess Logan wanted to know what he would look like with brown hair...

I prefer the blonde!

Oops, It's Been a While

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything, I guess I better do that! Not really a whole lot has been going on around here. Oh, except for one thing...we bought a house! It's now official. We have a closing date set for April 21, so it looks like I will be busy packing for the next several weeks. UGH!!! Oh well, hopefully we can get rid of some junk, though!! YAY!

The weather around here has been crazy lately. The first day in March it snowed, then the whole next week it was in the high 70s. Logan was able to wear shorts, we went to the park, flew a kite, had all sorts of fun OUTSIDE! Now, it's been raining and chilly for that past six days. I am really ready for spring to come, so hopefully this will be the last of the cold, dreary days for a while.

Here are some pictures from our fun day in the park and one of our new house! Hope you all enjoy!

I Can't Believe My Eyes

Here it is March 1, and look what kind of weather we are having...in Atlanta, GA. I can't believe it. All of this accumulated in about an hour and a half. And it's still coming down pretty hard.
